As you are reading
this I personally challenge you to clean out your closets, get
rid of some junk, and make some cash in the process. Yes it that simple,
most of people shy away from selling their old stuff. By why? Just because you
have that particular “thing” or gadget lying around and to you it seem useless
or that pieice of furniture is old fashion to you, DOES not mean no one will
buy it. There are tons of people who are looking to buy the stuff, that you
simply prefer to throw away. Hopefully, Now, it the time that to make some
economically sensible choices!!
First thing first, gather
your junk—old tech, clothes you don’t wear, unopened gifts from last year.
then list everything else on eBay, Craigslist, Amazon, Half.com, or
have garage sale. You can look at eBays completed listings to get an idea of
your item will go for!
- 1.Look up the item's retail value, brand new. The first thing to do is find out how much it would cost you to replace an item you want to get rid of. While you're searching, pay attention to how easy it is to obtain the item again. If you can't find the same item, look for reasonable, similar replacements and note how much they cost.
- 2.Then, determine your selling price. If you see the item widely available new but not available used, you may be able to sell your item easily as long as you price it well. In contrast, if you see the item is difficult to find new but widely available used, you may have a hard time selling unless you're willing to undercut everyone or the condition of your item is better than most. The same is true if an item is easy to find both new and used.
